Rolling through doors is faster than opening them (and can stun enemies on the other side), jumping then rolling can help you land on awkwardly positioned platforms (and on flat ground, is faster than running if you are in a rush), and many of the game's secret rooms have even more secret compartments found by rolling through passages in the wall. It's also useful in a variety of other ways. ![]() Not only that, almost everything in the game can be dodged this way, helping you move past enemies unfazed to blindside them, or simply get past them without losing any health.
